Heavy metal rockers Avenged Sevenfold (aka A7X) and punk rockers Good Charlotte are taking their decades-long friendship on the road this summer.
The co-headlining tour will visit 16 cities in North America from July 25th to August 30th, 2026.
It will be the first major North American tour for Good Charlotte since 2018. The band is touring in support of their latest album Motel Du Cap.
Avenged Sevenfold is promoting their newest single, "Magic".
The bands will be joined by A Day to Remember and special guests for their August 30th concert at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, California.

In 2005, Good Charlotte’s twin brothers Joel and Benji Madden brought A7X as their guest brought A7X as their guest to MTV's Total Request Live. Good Charlotte had befriended A7X during the Vans Warped Tour rock music festival.
A7X's performance of "Bat Country" drove the song to #1 on MTV's Total Request Live in January 2006. It peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and #6 on the Modern Rock Tracks (Alternative Airplay) chart.

GRAMMY-nominated band Avenged Sevenfold (aka A7X) is one of the most successful heavy metal bands of this century.
Their new single "Magic" is accompanied by a 360 VR music video, and a lyric video with handwritten lyrics by lead singer M. Shadows.

A7X was formed in 1999 in Huntington Beach, California by high school friends M. Shadows (Matthew Charles Sanders) on vocals, Zacky Vengeance (Zachary James Baker) on rhythm guitar, The Rev (James Owen Sullivan) on drums, and Matt Wendt on bass guitar.
Sullivan died on December 28th, 2009, at the age of 28, from an accidental overdose.

A7X has released eight studio albums, one live album (Live in the LBC & Diamonds in the Rough), two compilation albums, and one soundtrack album.
They released the Black Reign EP in 2018, with all of the original songs they wrote for the Call of Duty: Black Ops franchise from 2011 to 2018. Songs include "Mad Hatter", "Carry On", "Not Ready to Die" (from Call of the Dead) and "Jade Helm" (instrumental).
Their album Hail to the King: Deathbat is Avenged Sevenfold's original video game soundtrack released in 2015 to accompany their game of the same name.
Their studio albums include Sounding the Seventh Trumpet (2001), Waking the Fallen (2003), City of Evil (2005), Avenged Sevenfold (2007), Nightmare (2010), Hail to the King (2013), The Stage (2016), and Life Is But a Dream... (2023).
A7X's biggest commercial and critical hit songs include "Nightmare", "Bat Country", and "Hail to the King", the band's 2013 breakthrough song.

A7X will headline the Palco Mundo stage at Rock in Rio in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Saturday, September 5th, 2026. They are the closing act for the day's lineup, which is scheduled to include Bring Me The Horizon and Bad Omens.
A7X will then kick off a run of concerts in Asia on September 26th, with dates in Malaysia, Japan, Thailand, Jakarta and Singapore.

The band's current lineup consists of vocalist M. Shadows, guitarists Vengeance and Synyster Gates, bassist Johnny Christ, and drummer Brooks Wackerman.

Good Charlotte is an iconic American pop-punk and alternative rock band formed in Waldorf, Maryland, in 1996, by identical twin brothers Joel (lead vocals) and Benji Madden (guitar/vocals), Paul Thomas (bass), and Billy Martin (guitar and keyboards).
They have sold over six million albums in the US.
Motel Du Cap album by Good Charlotte
Good Charlotte is touring in support of their eighth album, Motel Du Cap, released in August 2025 after a seven-year hiatus. The album was inspired by a wedding they played at France's luxury Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc.

Joel is married to TV personality Nicole Richie, and Benji is married to actress Cameron Diaz.
