Bryan Adams is currently on his Roll With The Punches World Tour, which began in early 2025 and is scheduled to continue through 2026. The tour supports his 17th studio album, Roll With The Punches, with a mix of arena rock shows and "Bare Bones" acoustic performances across North America, Europe, Asia, and Africa.

Support acts include Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo in the United States, and The Sheepdogs, Amanda Marshall, and Lights in Canada.

Adams is a GRAMMY-winning singer-songwriter, musician, record producer and photographer.

He owns the independent record label Bad Records.

Adams was born November 5th, 1959, in Kingston, Ontario, to parents who emigrated to Canada from England in the 1950s.

His father was a British Army officer who joined the Canadian Army before working as a United Nations peacekeeping observer and Canadian foreign service diplomat.

Adams was stationed with his parents in Japan, Lisbon, South Korea, Israel, and the UK.

His mother is a painter and poet living in North Vancouver, BC.

He bought his first electric guitar at the age of 10, dropped out of school at age 15 to play in a band called Shock, and used his college fund to buy a grand piano.

Following Shock, he became the vocalist for glam rock band Sweeney Todd.

At age 18, Adams met Jim Vallance, former drummer for Prism. They formed a partnership that lasted through the 1980s, co-writing for artists including Tina Turner, Rod Stewart, Kiss, Carly Simon, Joe Cocker, Bonnie Tyler, Neil Diamond and Bonnie Raitt.

Adams released his first album at age 20. He has since released 15 studio albums, six compilation albums, two soundtrack albums, seven live albums, and 79 singles.

He has sold over 75 million albums.

In April 2022, Adams was ranked #48 on the list of all-time top artists on the Billboard Hot 100.

He's had 25 top 15 singles in Canada and over a dozen in the US, UK, and Australia.

He has been nominated for five Golden Globe Awards and three Academy Awards for his songwriting for films.

Adams has been awarded the Order of Canada, and the Order of British Columbia.

Bryan Adams - (Everything I Do) I Do It For You

"(Everything I Do) I Do It For You" was the lead single for both the soundtrack album from the 1991 film Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, and Adams' sixth studio album, Waking Up the Neighbours.

The song reached #1 in at least 19 countries. It is one of the best-selling singles in history, having sold more than 15 million copies worldwide.

"Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman?" by Adams was featured in the 1995 film Don Juan DeMarco, starring Marlon Brando, Johnny Depp and Faye Dunaway.

Adams' song "Heaven" was used in the 1983 film A Night in Heaven, starring Christopher Atkins and Lesley Ann Warren. The song became his first #1 hit in the US.

Tears Are Not Enough

Adams co-wrote the hit Canadian charity song "Tears Are Not Enough" with his partner Vallance, David Foster, and Rachel Paiement.

The 1985 single was recorded by Canadian supergroup Northern Lights to raise money for Ethiopia.

Singers included Adams, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Gordon Lightfoot, Geddy Lee, Anne Murray, Corey Hart, Burton Cummings, Carole Pope and many more.

The project reportedly raised $3.2 million Canadian, donating 90% to famine relief in Ethiopia, and 10% to Canadian food banks.

"Tears Are Not Enough" was also included on the "We Are the World" full-length US album with other charity songs.

Reckless is the fourth studio album by Adams, released on November 5th, 1984, his 25th birthday. The album sold over 12 million copies worldwide.

Six singles were released, including "Summer of '69", "Run to You", "One Night Love Affair", "Heaven", "Somebody", and "It's Only Love".

All six singles charted in the top 20 of the US Billboard Hot 100.

Cuts Like A Knife

Bryan Adams - Cuts Like a Knife

Cuts Like a Knife is the third studio album by Adams, released in January 1983. Three singles were released, including "Straight from the Heart", "Cuts Like a Knife", and "This Time".

"Straight from the Heart" became his first US top-ten hit.

The album hit #1 in Canada and the US, and became the first album by a Canadian to be certified Diamond in Canada.

Adams' photographs have appeared in Interview magazine and Harper’s Bazaar, plus his work frequently appears in Vogue and Vanity Fair. His subjects have included Shania Twain, Ray Charles, Lenny Kravitz, and Naomi Campbell.

Adams has captured iconic images of celebrities, musicians, and royalty, including Queen Elizabeth II, Mick Jagger, Amy Winehouse, Kate Moss, Lana Del Rey, Mickey Rourke, and Celine Dion.

Adams' books of photography include Made in Canada (1999), American Women (2004), Exposed (2012), Wounded: The Legacy of War (2013), Untitled (2015) and #shotbyadams (2025).

His work has been exhibited at museums and galleries worldwide.
