Ed Sheeran's 11-month LOOP Tour in support of his new album Play, kicks off tonight in Paris, France, at the legendary The Zénith Paris – La Villette, followed by more 2025 dates in Munich (Germany), Coventry and Manchester (UK), and Dublin (Ireland).
Sheeran is a multiple Grammy award-winning English singer-songwriter, record producer, and actor who has sold over 200 million albums worldwide.
He's won several Grammys, American Music Awards and Billboard Music Awards, plus an Emmy.

Sheeran will play stadiums in Australia and New Zealand, from January through March 2026.
The North American leg of the tour will run from June 13th to November 7th, 2026.
Various stops are to include the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Peru, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, and Guatemala.

Play is Sheeran's eighth studio album, released in September 2025, which became his ninth consecutive album to top the charts in the UK.
It also hit #1 in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, Poland, and Switzerland.
Play is the first of Sheeran's planned pentalogy of albums with five titles based on media control symbols: Play, Pause, Fast Forward, Rewind and Stop.
Sheeran has stated that he plans a sixth, and final, album for the series - Eject - to be released on the day that he dies.
His latest project follows a string of releases based on mathematics.
"When I was like 18, I had an idea for like 10 albums. It’s Plus, Multiply, Divide, Subtract, Equals, and then Play, Pause, Fast Forward, Rewind and Stop," he explained on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Sheeran co-wrote and produced Play with musicians and producers including Johnny McDaid, Fred Again, Omer Fedi, Ilya, Cirkut, Blake Slatkin, Elvira Anderfjärd, Savan Kotecha, Dave, and Arijit Singh.
Play was supported by six singles: "Azizam", "Old Phone", "Sapphire", "A Little More", "Camera", and "Symmetry".
Sheeran's EP Play (The Remixes) featuring Indian artists Hanumankind, Arijit Singh, Jonita, and Karan Aujla was released in October 2025.

Sheeran was born in Halifax, West Yorkshire, England, on February 17, 1991, and raised in Framlingham, Suffolk, England.
He began writing songs at the age of 11, and moved to London at age 17 to pursue his music career. Sheeran released his first indie EP, The Orange Room, in 2005.
He built a large following on his YouTube channel, and signed with Asylum Records in 2011.
He has acted in Game of Thrones and Bridget Jones's Baby, and won an Emmy award for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for the song "A Beautiful Game" from the Apple TV+ show Ted Lasso.

Sheeran was the musical guest on the February 11th, 2017 episode hosted by Alec Baldwin. Sheeran performed "Shape of You", and "Castle On A Hill" from his album ÷ (Divide).

Its first two singles "The A Team" and "You Need Me, I Don't Need You" hit #3 and #4 on the UK Singles Chart, respectively.
The tracks "Drunk", "Small Bump", and "Give Me Love" all charted in the top 25 of the UK Singles Chart, with "Lego House" hitting #5.
Worldwide, the album has sold more than 4 million copies.
