Evanescence is set to launch a massive 2026 World Tour on June 11th in support of their sixth studio album Sanctuary, scheduled to drop on June 5th.

 

This will be the GRAMMY-winning band's first worldwide tour in four years, with stops across North America, Europe and the United Kingdom.

 

North American support acts include SpiritboxNova Twins, and K. FlayUK and European support will include Poppy, Nova Twins, and K. Flay.

Sanctuary is the band's first studio album since 2021's The Bitter Truth. 

 

The single "Who Will You Follow" was released on April 10th, 2026, and hit #1 on the US Billboard Hot Hard Rock Songs chart.

Evanescence was initially formed as a rock band in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1995 by singer-pianist Amy Lee and guitarist Ben MoodyTheir style has since been described as gothic, alternative, metal, and hard rock.

Current members of the 5-piece band include Lee on vocals, keyboards and piano, Tim McCord on guitar and bass, Troy McLawhorn on guitars and backing vocals, Will Hunt on drums and percussion, and Emma Anzai on bass and backing vocals.

Evanescence has sold over 31 million albums worldwide.

On February 1st, 2022, their hit song "Bring Me To Life" surpassed one billion views on YouTube.

Afterlife (from the Netflix series "Devil May Cry") - Official Music Video

"Afterlife" is an original song by Evanescence and Mako, written for the animated adult fantasy action television series Devil May Cry.

 

The song is featured in episodes six and seven of the Netflix series based on the Japanese video game franchise of the same name by Capcom.

"Afterlife" reached #1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay and Rock & Alternative Airplay charts in July 2025, and will be included on the band's upcoming album, Sanctuary.

Rock In Rio

Evanescence Live Rock In Rio Lisbon 2004 (Full Concert) HD

During their Fallen Tour 2004, Evanescence made a stop at Rock in Rio Lisbon as the main support act for Foo Fighters during the day-long festival.

 

Evanescence performed 13 songs for approximately 100,000 concert-goers.

The album includes reworked orchestral and electronica arrangements of some of the band's previous material, in addition to two new songs, "Imperfection" and "Hi-Lo".
