The Cause
The 9th Annual McBowl Concert Series on May 22nd and 23rd brought out some big music names from the 80s and 90s to raise money for Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada (RMHC) in Toronto.
Strange Advance, Jesus Jones, and Gene Loves Jezebel helped turn part of the 60,000 square-foot, 60-lane Classic Bowl bowling alley in Mississauga, Ontario into a large concert hall for the two-day festival.

Haywire, Teenage Head, Sergio Galli of the Platinum Blonde All Star Band, and The Box rounded out the stellar lineup.
McBowl was founded 11 years ago by music promoter Ed Sousa to support RMHC, a national Canadian charity that allows families to stay near their children who are being treated in hospital.

All funds raised from ticket sales, silent auction items, and sponsorships directly assist families staying at Ronald McDonald House in Toronto.

"A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made the 9th McBowl concert series a tremendous success," said Sousa. "Your support is and will always be greatly appreciated. See you at the 10th annual in May 2027."
