Metal Gods to Send Ozzy Off with 11-Hour Party

Billed as the final show ever for Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath, the BACK TO THE BEGINNING concert starts Saturday, July 5th, at 12 noon BST (7 AM EST) in Villa Park, Aston (UK).


Jason Momoa will host the event, which is expected to last for 11 hours.


The concert is sold-out, but pay-per-view tickets are available here. The original four members of Black Sabbath will perform together for the first and last time in 20 years. Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward all grew up in the surrounding areas of the concert venue.



Some of the biggest hard rock bands in the world are confirmed to play, including Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Slayer, Tool, Pantera, Alice In Chains, Gojira, Anthrax, Lamb Of God, Halestorm, Rival Sons, and Mastodon.



Two "supergroups" of musicians are expected to perform, including Billy Corgan (The Smashing Pumpkins), David Ellefson (ex-Megadeth), Fred Durst (Limp Bizkit), Sammy Hagar, Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine), David Draiman (Disturbed), Duff McKagan & Slash (Guns N' Roses), Frank Bello & Scott Ian (Anthrax), Jake E. Lee, KK Downing, Mike Bordin (Faith No More), Lzzy Hale (Halestorm), Rudy Sarzo, Papa V Perpetua (Ghost), Sleep Token II (Sleep Token), and Zakk Wylde.


All proceeds go to Birmingham’s Children’s Hospital, Acorn Children’s Hospice and Cure Parkinson’s.
