A viral video shows Ozzy Osbourne's two-year-old grandson, Sidney, biting the head off a toy bat.
Posted by Ozzy's daughter Kelly Osbourne on TikTok on October 31st, the video shows her son Sidney in a skeleton costume, jubilantly biting the head off a toy bat in an apparent tribute to his grandfather.
“Learned from the greatest, Papa!” Kelly captioned the clip, which plays Osbourne’s hit song “Crazy Train” in the background.
Kelly is engaged to the boy's father, Sid Wilson, DJ and keyboardist of Slipknot.
"The moment nods directly to Ozzy’s infamous 1982 concert in Des Moines, Iowa, where he bit the head off what turned out to be a real bat onstage — a career-defining stunt that’s followed him for decades," Billboard magazine commented.
“I’ve achieved quite a lot in my life, but all people do is go, ‘Ozzy, what do bats really taste like?’” Ozzy told People in 2022. “But I’ll tell you what, when they gave me the rabies shot, I wasn’t smiling.”
