Willie Nelson, 92, Releases Christmas Song

Country legend Willie Nelson surprised fans with the release of a Christmas song a week before Halloween.

The iconic musician and actor released his new country music ballad “Christmas Love Song” Friday on Sony Music’s Legacy Recordings.

Nelson has released several Christmas albums during his almost 70-year career, including Pretty Paper (1979); Christmas With Willie Nelson (1994); Pancho, Lefty, and Rudolph (1995) with Merle Haggard; Hill Country Christmas (1997) with sister Bobbie Nelson; The Christmas Album (2005); and The Classic Christmas Album (2012).

Nelson wrote the classic Christmas song "Pretty Paper", which was a hit for Roy Orbison in 1963. Nelson recorded his own version the following year.
