Yungblud & Ozzy

Yungblud first met Ozzy Osbourne on the set of Yungblud's music video for "The Funeral" in 2022, where Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne made cameo appearances.
Yungblud told Billboard News that he had initially reached out to his friend Kelly Osbourne to be in the video. She said she wouldn't be available, but her parents would do it.
In the finished video, Sharon drives over Yungblud.
“What the fuck was that?” Ozzy asks from the passenger seat.
Sharon replies: “Just some fucking poser."
Ozzy says, “Ah, run him over again then.”

Yungblud revealed that Ozzy told him he saw a lot of himself in Yungblud. Ozzy also offered Yungblud some advice, telling him "Never apologize for anything," according to NME.
Yungblud appeared at the Back to the Beginning farewell concert for Ozzy and his legendary band Black Sabbath, performing a cover of their song "Changes".
He was backed by Extreme‘s Nuno Bettencourt on guitar, Anthrax‘s Frank Bello on bass, Sleep Token‘s II on drums and Black Sabbath/Ozzy Osbourne's touring keyboardist Adam Wakeman on keys.

"This was hands down one of the biggest moments of my life," Yungblud stated on his Instagram page. "I got to stand on stage and honour one of my heroes and the fact that it has touched so many is truly overwhelming."

Following Ozzy's death on July 22nd, Yungblud posted on his own Instagram page:
"I didn’t think you would leave so soon the last time we met you were so full of life and your laugh filled up the room. But as it is written with legends, they seem to know things that we don’t. I will never forget you - you will be in every single note I sing and with me every single time I walk on stage. Your cross around my neck is the most precious thing I own. You asked me once if there was anything you could do for me and as I said then and as I will say now for all of us the music was enough. You took us on your adventure - an adventure that started it all. I am truly heartbroken. You were the greatest of all time."
Are You Ready, Boy?

Are You Ready, Boy, is a full-length documentary about Yungblud, coming exclusively to cinemas worldwide on August 20th & 24th, 2025.
YUNGBLUD. ARE YOU READY, BOY? - Official Trailer
“I wanted to make a film that truly documents where we are right now in this moment at the release of my most ambitious album to date. Berlin has always radiated complete unfiltered truth every time I have visited it and hansa studios is fucking iconic. You can feel the history in Hansa; it’s in the silence between takes, the ceiling above looming over you. You’re standing in the shadows of all these legends asking yourself who the fuck am I and what am I gonna lead behind?"
"This album forces you to look in a mirror and question who you are without compromise. It’s about comprehending what the ‘Idols’ in your life may have taught you but inevitably realising that all the answers came from within you. It’s about confronting legacy. Not bowing down, but standing toe-to-toe with it. Challenging it. Carrying it forward in your own way. This film is a journey. It’s raw. It’s uncomfortable for me to watch and I’m terrified to put it out - but I think that’s the point.”
