Nicki Minaj is reportedly close to losing her $20 million mansion in Hidden Hills, California, for failing to pay a $500,000 judgment against her and her husband, registered sex offender Kenneth Petty.

Thomas Weidenmuller, a security guard at a Minaj concert in Frankfurt, Germany, won a default judgment against Minaj and Petty for an alleged battery that occurred on March 22nd, 2019.

"Weidenmuller won the default judgment after the couple never answered his lawsuit, which claims he suffered a broken jaw and needed multiple surgeries after Petty allegedly punched him backstage," AOL stated. "[Weidenmuller] says the punch came after he stepped in during an argument between Minaj and a female security guard earlier that night."

"Judge Cindy Pánuco said on Monday (Nov. 24) that she’s ready to order the forced sale of Minaj’s $20 million Hidden Hills mansion so a former security guard can finally collect the $500,000 judgment he’s owed."

AOL also reported that the Los Angeles judge has scheduled a hearing for January 22nd, 2026, and intends to act, pending receipt of a final mortgage statement from Bank of America disclosing the balance of the $13.3 million home loan.

"With the home appraised at $20 million, the court estimates a sale would still leave Minaj with millions after paying off the lien and her homestead exemption, so more than enough to satisfy the judgment."

Weidenmuller claims that he has attempted to collect the debt, unsuccessfully, via several written requests, levies, and by contacting seven potential sources for garnishment.

Multiple sources report that the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department placed a levy on Minaj’s 11-bedroom, 16-bathroom, 11,820 square foot home in Hidden Hills, California, on September 16th, 2025.

Judge Pánuco originally awarded Weidenmuller a default judgment of $503,318 for medical costs, ongoing injuries, and emotional harm in early 2024.
