Priscilla Presley Slams Michael Jackson For Marrying Lisa Marie

Priscilla Presley claims in her new book that Michael Jackson married her late daughter Lisa Marie Presley simply for the name value. Lisa Marie, the sole child of Priscilla and Elvis Presley, was married to Jackson from 1994 to 1996. Lisa Marie died in 2023 at the age of 54.

Priscilla's upcoming memoir, Softly, As I Leave You: Life After Elvis, states she asked Lisa Marie if she “had a physical relationship” with Jackson, according to an excerpt published in The Sun (UK).

“Like so many people, I wasn’t sure,” the 80-year-old ex-wife of Elvis wrote. “She said yeah. I was appalled by the marriage. I knew in my bones that Michael wasn’t marrying Lisa Marie; he was marrying the Presley dynasty.”

"Priscilla believes Lisa Marie married Michael Jackson because they were both wealthy and famous," according to USA Today.

They go on to quote Priscilla as saying, "She wanted to be with a man on the same level she was,” regarding Lisa Marie’s decision to divorce Danny Keough and marry Jackson three weeks later.

Priscilla and Elvis Presley were married from 1967 to 1973.
