"Cindy Lou Who" Rocks Her Song From 2000 Grinch Movie

Taylor Momsen, the actress who played Cindy Lou Who in the 2000 Ron Howard film How the Grinch Stole Christmas with Jim Carrey, rocked out a song from the film with her band The Pretty Reckless on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Friday night. Watch the performance below.

The 32-year-old Momsen sang along with the film's audio track of her original recording of the song "Where Are You Christmas?" from when she was a young girl. Mariah Carey was a co-writer of the song. Faith Hill recorded a version for the film’s soundtrack.

The rocked out version of "Where Are You Christmas?" is included on Taylor Momsen's Pretty Reckless Christmas EP, released in October.

Momsen recently performed at the 2025 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony for new inductees Soundgarden. The special will be re-broadcast on New Year's Day 2026 on ABC at 8 PM (EST).
