Diddy Placed in Solitary Confinement After Fight: Reports

Sean "Diddy" Combs has been placed in solitary confinement following an altercation with a fellow inmate at Fort Dix, a source familiar with the incident confirmed to Rolling Stone magazine.

"A fellow inmate at the low-security federal prison in New Jersey allegedly taunted Combs, who reportedly lashed out at the man, TMZ first reported. The pair are said to have exchanged shoves and throws, before prison guards were able to separate them. Afterward, Combs was reportedly put in solitary confinement. It is not clear if the other inmate was also reprimanded for his part in the scuffle."

A representative for Combs told Rolling Stone that they were “unable to confirm" the report, while a spokesperson for Fort Dix declined to comment.

“We are not at liberty to disclose or provide internal information pertaining to any inmate in our custody,” said a prison representative.

Combs is serving a 50-month sentence following his conviction on transportation to engage in prostitution charges last July. He was acquitted of racketeering and sex trafficking charges. The rapper and founder of Bad Boy Records is scheduled for release in February 2028, according to the Bureau of Prisons website.

"The 56-year-old’s notorious temper and his propensity for physical violence played a dominant role in his trial last year," Rolling Stone continued. "Combs was accused of routinely beating his then-girlfriend, the singer Casandra 'Cassie' Ventura, throughout their decade-long relationship, which ended in 2018. Former staffers alleged they also were subjected to violence at the hands of their boss."
