Over 25 tracks from Eminem's vault were allegedly leaked last week. His team stated, “These leaked songs were studio efforts never meant for public consumption. They are demos, experiments and ideas that are dated and not relevant so many years later.”

Many of the songs have been taken down on social media and YouTube, however his team has since allowed certain popular YouTube users to make reaction videos with the music.

The tracks were reportedly recorded over the course of two decades, and include collaborations with 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Slaughterhouse, Anderson .Paak, and the late Nate Dogg. Among the material is a diss track, "Smack You", primarily aimed at Suge Knight, the 59 year old founder of Death Row Records who is serving a 28-year sentence for the hit-and-run manslaugter of his friend Terry Carter. The "Smack You" lyrics directly accuse Knight of murdering The Notorious B.I.G., and Tupac Shakur.

The leaks have put Eminem back at the top of the news feed, after a huge 2024 for him.

Last year, Eminem had over 9 billion Spotify streams, making him the most streamed artist of the year (who debuted in the 1990s). His Middle East 2024 Tour Run in December set attendance records in Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, and Riyadh. He also won two MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) for Best Hip Hop ("Houdini") and Best Visual Effects ("Houdini").

He has been nominated for three GRAMMY Awards (2025) for his album The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce).

Eminem is an Oscar award winner, Emmy award winner, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, and 15-time GRAMMY winner, in addition to being the recipient of over 130 more well-known awards. Finance Monthly reports Eminem's 2024 net worth to be $250 million.
