JIM MORRISON'S STOLEN GRAVE BUST ACCIDENTALLY FOUND BY FRENCH POLICE

Iconic Doors singer Jim Morrison's bust from his gravesite at the Père-Lachaise cemetery in Paris, France, was stolen 37 years ago. According to CBS News, the sculpture, by Mladen Mikulin, had been placed at the grave in 1981 to mark the 10th anniversary of Morrison's death. French police stumbled upon the long-missing relic during a separate investigation.

Lead singer of the Doors hits "Light My Fire", "Riders on the Storm", and "People Are Strange", Morrison died on July 3rd, 1971 (age 27) in Paris from heart failure, according to officials.

The late singer Marianne Faithfull (among others), is on record stating that Morrison's death was due to an accidental heroin overdose.
