Katy Perry & Former Canadian PM Caught In Romantic Moment

Photos published Saturday by Daily Mail (UK) show "Roar" hitmaker Katy Perry embraced in a kiss with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau aboard her yacht.

The photos, shared by X user @todaykatyp, are captioned, "Daily Mail UK released photos of Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau kissing on Katy’s yacht in California."

Allegedly taken in California by a tourist on a nearby boat, the photos seem to show Perry and Trudeau in an intimate moment, with his hand on her backside.

"Rumours of a romance between Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau appear to have been confirmed," NME reported. "While gossip columns have been speculating on the possible relationship throughout the summer, there has been no confirmation from either party about the possibility of a partnership."

"On Saturday (October 11), however, the Daily Mail published photographs of the pair embracing and kissing on the upper deck of a yacht which they reported was captured off the coast of Santa Barbara, California in late September."

The pair had been photographed in July dining at an upscale restaurant in Montreal, and Trudeau was seen attending her concert in the city the next day.

Perry and her partner of nine years, Orlando Bloom, split in July of this year. They share a daughter named Daisy Dove. Perry is currently on the road with her worldwide Lifetimes Tour.

Trudeau and his wife of 18 years, Sophie Grégoire, separated in 2023. They have three children together including sons Xavier and Hadrien, and daughter Ella-Grace. Trudeau resigned as Canada's prime minister in March, 2025.
