POST MALONE'S NIRVANA COVERS COMING ON RECORD STORE DAY

Post Malone, the 2025 Record Store Day Ambassador, announced today that he will be releasing a vinyl album of Nirvana cover songs on April 12th, 2025, as part of the 18th annual celebration of independent record stores.

POST MALONE TRIBUTE TO NIRVANA, is a 14-track album of previously unreleased songs from Malone’s livestream tribute to Nirvana on April 24, 2020 during COVID. Malone's YouTube livestream raised money for the the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.

The album will be for sale on yellow vinyl, exclusively for Record Store Day 2025. The songs feature drummer Travis Barker (blink-182), guitarist Nick Mack and bassist Brian Lee.

Covers include "Come as You Are", "On a Plane", "Heart-Shaped Box", "Lounge Act", and more. Profits from the album will go to MusiCares’ Addiction Recovery/Mental Health division.

"What an honor, I can’t believe I was chosen to be Record Store Day’s Ambassador for 2025," Malone said. "We love hitting local shops when we’re on the road, seeing all the crazy artwork, the whole energy in a record store is just super inspiring."
