Breakout American singer-songwriter Shaboozey's hit song "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" crossed the one billion streams mark on Spotify during Christmas Day, coinciding with his performance with Beyoncé during the NFL halftime show at the Houston Texans versus Baltimore Ravens game.

The 29 year old's hit song has been atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 19 weeks, and won the Top Country Song statue at the 31st Billboard Music Awards ceremony on December 12th, 2024.

The song's chorus includes the lyrics:

"Someone pour me up a double shot of whiskey

They know me and Jack Daniels got a history

There's a party downtown near Fifth Street

Everybody at the bar gettin' tipsy"

Fun song, but I don't understand the enormous success of it. Either way, a big shout-out to him. The song is available on his album Where I've Been, Isn't Where I'm Going.
