In a move by Sean "Diddy" Combs' legal team, they have stated that Combs aspires to become an anti-domestic violence advocate, suggesting that his intentions to counsel abusers should support a light sentence of time served for his convictions on prostitution-related charges.
One of his defense lawyers, Alexandra Shapiro, told Business Insider that Combs wants "to help in whatever ways he can to kind of encourage other people not to do this and really to help in positive ways in the future."
Combs faces up to twenty years in prison for his two recent convictions of transportation to engage in prostitution. He is being held without bail pending his sentencing date of October 3rd, 2025. He was acquited of the more serious charges of racketeering and sex-trafficking.
