Diddy Trial: Defense Closes With Lube Remarks

Rolling Stone magazine reported that during Sean "Diddy" Combs' defense arguments today, his lead attorney claimed that Combs was simply living a lifestyle of swingers, threesomes, and personal drug use.

“Sean Combs has become something that is very, very hard to be. Very hard to be. He is a self-made, successful, Black entrepreneur,” Marc Agnifilo said.

“Boxes of Astroglide, taken off the streets, whoo! I feel better already,” Agnifilo said, referring to the raid at Combs' home last year. “Thank goodness for the special response team. They found the Astroglide! They found the baby oil! They found like five valium pills. Way to go fellas.”

The defense continues its closing arguments today.

The trial, being held in a Manhattan federal courthouse, accuses Combs of racketeering, conspiracy and sex trafficking. He faces life in prison if convicted on certain counts.

In a surprising move on Tuesday, federal prosecutors withdrew several major allegations against Combs, only hours after resting their six-week case against him.

According to Rolling Stone, prosecutors "filed a late-night letter to the court saying they would no longer be pursuing theories that the Bad Boy Records founder was involved in attempted arson, attempted kidnapping, and aiding and abetting sex trafficking."

The allegations fell under the racketeering conspiracy charge against Combs. Prosecutors still allege Combs engaged in bribery, witness tampering, forced labor, and drug offenses.

The trial is expected to go to the jury on Monday.
